Kathmandu power Company (kpc) as a company, was established in 1998, though, since then there had been transfer of ownership on one occasion on 2007, the company’s progress trend has never been hindered, the ownership transfer has in fact complemented the trend for that matter. The present owners of the company have been associated with the company in one way or another for more than a decade.

It has always been kpc’s desire to be associated with the field of renewal energy which it boasts to be doing since its establishment. Moreover having been engaged in the solar sector, a sector associated with one of the cleanest form of energy known to mankind and having have served and satisfied a great number of individuals and institutions both in rural and urban areas, have been very satisfying to us. Till date, we have already installed around 30000 Solar home lighting systems and around 50 institutional systems in small institutions and schools. For this, a good chunk of credit must go to the network of service stations (we have service stations near the places where we have our installations) besides our management and our staffs.
